The dynamic group of women who make up Women On a Mission (WOM) do many different hands-on activities to serve the community such as providing special mission speakers; layette kits for newborns of needy families at Fairfax Hospital; making sandwiches for the homeless in our community; sending prayer packages with cookies to college students; making 'cooling collars' for those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan; hosting a World Crafts Bazaar to aid poverty-stricken artisans from around the world; aiding local schools and ministry programs to low-income families; and many others. WOM meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in Whitten Hall.
