Since March 1 through September 12, ECHO has given 1,049 families over 26,600 bags of food and personal care items. They often hear stories such as when a single mom who lost her job cried tears of joy when she received her food. She was so happy to have food for her 5-year old daughter.
ECHO’s most needed list is on their website at http://www.echo-inc.org. Urgent needs include laundry detergent, deodorant, muffin/cornbread/Maseca flour, can fruit and vegetables, jelly, and can meat.
